Here are some tips on spotting cheats and hacks in Call of Duty: Warzone

Call of Duty: Warzone hacks and cheats have only grown in popularity since its release last year. Activision has not been able to seal the cracks through which game-ruining jerks have poured fully. The warzone cheats system is behind the times compared to other popular FPSs and battle royale games. Although ban waves have occurred, dedicated players continue to encounter cheaters semi-regularly. You may have encountered cheaters without realizing it, too.

It is important to know what to look out for to know if a cheater has infiltrated your match. Some cheaters are outright blatant, while others hide their enhanced abilities more guilefully. We’ve compiled a list of the most common cheats and hacks for COD: Warzone, along with the current state of warzone cheats in the game, how we got here, and what could happen next. Warzone has been plagued by cheating since its release.

Although it’s impossible to be certain without hard data, we see some very bad stuff in-game. There are endless clips of hackers stomping legit players on the Warzone subreddit. While normal players do not have game developers tuning into their streams to ban cheaters on the spot like CouRage probably does, it still gives some insight into what it’s like to play Warzone on an extremely high level.

There is a relation between rank and how often cheaters appear in Warzone. I am a fairly bad Warzone player and haven’t ever caught a cheater red-handed. It is common for cheaters not to be matched with my squad of amateurs in only some modes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare/Warzone because there is a certain amount of skill-based matchmaking.

A blog post was released by the company in April 2020 that outlined its security measures, followed in July by a reminder that any modification to the game can result in a ban. The game’s developer Infinity Ward announced at the end of September, right before Season 6 started, that more than 200,000 cheating accounts had been banned. After a report alleging that the developer banned over 20,000 accounts in one wave, this news came shortly after that.

In a battle royale game, where smart positioning is everything, wallhacks provide tremendous knowledge. Players can also broadcast information like their distance from the cheater, their username, and what weapon they are holding with the most common wallhacks. When they are in the line of sight of a cheater, their wireframe colour will also turn red, letting them know when to fire.
